Sweet Biscuit Strudel

Sweet Biscuits

2 1/2 cups CB Old Country Store® Buttermilk Baking & Pancake Mix

2/3 cup milk

3 tablespoons sugar


1/4 cup butter, melted

1/2 cup pie or cobbler filling

1/4 cup course sugar


1. Preheat oven to 425°F.

2. In a medium bowl, add all biscuit ingredients and stir until fully combined.

3. Turn dough out onto floured surface and generously dust top with flour.

4. Knead 5 times folding dough in half each time, then roll dough to 1/4 inch thick.

5. Cut into 5x3 inch rectangles and place on an ungreased baking sheet.

6. Spoon tablespoon filling on half of dough, fold side over, seal pinch edges to seal and make 2-3 slits in top.

7. Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar.

8. Bake for 9-11 minutes.
